If you like to take a drink every now and then, keep your money at home if you plan to do your consuming in a brick and mortar betting house. I am not joking. clean out your billfold, your wallet, and leave all cash, bank cards and checks at home. Take just the cash you intend to spend on beverages, tipping and whatever loose coins you plan on loosing and leave the remainder behind.
Contemptuous? Not at all. Realistic really. You might well experience a success after a boozy night out with your buddies and be lucky enough to catch a 25 minute roll at a hot craps table. Hang on to that account because it is as brief as it gets if you continually drink and bet. The 2 just don’t mix.
Leaving your money at home is a bit dramatic, but precautionary actions for dramatic behavior is proportionate and required. If you bet to win, then don’t drink and play. If you are able to manage to toss away your cash without a second thought, then consume all the no cost booze your belly can handle, but don’t take credit cards and checks to throw into the combination of chasing losses after your inebriated brain squanders everything!
